Meet My Team




Jane Campbell
Chief of Staff

Jane Campbell joined Senator Landrieu as her Chief of Staff in January 2009.  The two met in 1985 when they were both the youngest women elected to their respective legislatures.

Campbell’s public service career included six terms in the Ohio House of Representatives where she focused on economic development financing, child welfare and health and human services policy. She was elected in 1995 as the President of the National Conference of State Legislatures. She went on to become a county commissioner in Ohio’s largest County and while in office managed the implementation of welfare reform that moved over 20,000 families from welfare into work. In 2001 Campbell was elected Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio. In extremely difficult financial times she restored fiscal stability and integrity to the city by reducing the size of the municipal workforce and establishing City Stat – a measurement system to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the work of city government.  Following her term as Mayor, Campbell was a John F. Kennedy fellow at the Harvard University Institute of Politics. She returned home to Cleveland as the Managing Director of Public Sector Solutions at Colliers Ostendorf Morris where she negotiated public/private partnerships for corporate and local government entities to strengthen economic development.

Elizabeth Leoty Craddock
Legislative Director

A native of Delhi, Louisiana, Elizabeth (Liz) joined Senator Landrieu's office in 2006.  Currently, she handles the Senator’s energy, environmental, agricultural and trade issues, in addition to serving as the ethics adviser for the office. Prior to serving in Senator Landrieu's office, Elizabeth worked for U.S. Congresswoman Karen Thurman, D-Dunnellon, and Congressman Dale Kildee, D-Flint. Elizabeth received her B.A. in Political Science and B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida, and earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School. She is a member of the DC bar.

Ben Billings
Senior policy adviser

Ben Billings serves as Senior Policy Advisor for Homeland Security and Disaster Recovery.  In this capacity, he advises the Senator on transportation and border security, counter terrorism, customs and maritime enforcement, and immigration, as well as a range of disaster management issues.

After working as a Legislative Aide to Senator Landrieu , Ben worked for four years on the Senate Homeland Security Committee, where he served as Staff Director for the Subcommittee on Disaster Recovery. Previously, he worked in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Law Enforcement Defense Division of the Texas Attorney General's Office, and the Political Asylum Project of Austin. He holds an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, M.A. in International Peace and Security from the University of London-King’s College School of Law, B.A. in History from the University of Texas at Austin, and Certificate in Weapons of Mass Destruction from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

Ben is a native of New Orleans.

Angélique Roché
Legislative Aide

A Port Allen, LA native, Angélique Roché joined Senator Landrieu's office in 2008 and handles issues related to civil rights, equal protection, law enforcement, criminal justice, Social Security and Immigration. In addition, Angélique assists on issues related finance, insurance, labor and economic development. Angélique attended Southern University and A & M College in Baton Rouge, LA where she graduated cum laude in Mass Communications, Print Journalism. She obtained her J.D. from Southern University Law Center and graduated cum laude and earned her L.L.M in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University LawSchool in Washington, DC. Angelique is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority Inc., Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity, the New Leaders Council, the Women’s Congressional Staff Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. Last year, Angelique was honored as one of the 40 Under on 40 in Philanthropy for D.C.’s Envest Fund.

Tasha Hensley
Legislative Assistant

Tasha Hensley joined Senator Landrieu’s team in April 2010.  She handles issues related to education and national service. Previously, Tasha was the National Public Policy Manager for Citizen Schools, a network of apprenticeship-based afterschool programs.  Prior to that, she taught middle and high school French in Boston and Baltimore.  Tasha is an alumna of Teach For America and the Education Pioneers Fellowship.  She has a B.A. in History and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University.

Peter Gwynn-Sackson
Legislative Aide

Peter Gwynn-Sackson joined Senator Landrieu’s team in April 2011. He manages Sen. Landrieu’s healthcare, agriculture, and fisheries portfolios. Previously, Peter worked in the House of Representatives in a similar role for Rep. Kendrick Meek (D-Fla.).  Peter is a 2006 Teach For America corps member and graduated with a B.A. in Economics from University of Florida.

Libby Whitbeck
Legislative Assistant

Libby Whitbeck joined Sen. Landrieu’s staff in May 2011. She handles the Senator’s foreign policy and child welfare portfolio. Libby previously served as a Legislative Correspondent for Senator Landrieu. She has also worked on nutrition policy for the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition & Forestry under Chairman Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas.  Libby has a B.A. in Political Science and Minors in Swahili and Business Administration at Boston University.

Betty Krupa
Legislative Correspondent

Betty Krupa became part of Senator Landrieu’s team in May 2009. She handles legislative correspondence related to foreign policy, child welfare, and education. She graduated from Stevenson University, formally known as Villa Julie College, with a B.A. in Human Services. She was an intern for Senator DeMint in 2008 and now serves on Buckner International’s Washington DC Advisory Council.

Amber McDowell
Communications Director

Amber McDowell joined Senator Landrieu's team as Communications Director in 2011, overseeing all messaging and media outreach for the Senator. She previously served two years as Press Secretary and Speechwriter for U.S. Senator Tom Udall of New Mexico. Prior to that, Amber worked as Director of State Communications at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, a non-profit, international advocacy organization. A Tennessee native, Amber got her start in politics in 2004 as Speechwriter for Governor Phil Bredesen (D-TN) and later as Press Secretary for Bredesen's successful 2006 re-election campaign. Amber began her career as a political reporter for The Associated Press in Nashville. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master's Degree in Political Management from The George Washington University.

Matthew Lehner
Deputy Communications Director

Matthew Lehner joined Senator Landrieu’s press team in August 2010 after working as a press/staff assistant for Rep. Melissa Bean (D-Ill.). Previously, he served in Rep. Charlie Melancon's (D-La.) office. A native of Bloomington, Ill., he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2009 from Saint Louis University, where he studied journalism and political science. Lehner is also a professional photographer and oversees the senator's visual and multimedia.

Erin Donar
Press Secretary


 
Erin Donar joined Sen. Landrieu’s team in October 2011 after serving two and a half years as Communications Director/ Policy Advisor for Congressman Dale E. Kildee (D-MI). She previously served as Communications Director for Congresswoman Betty Sutton (D-Ohio) and as Deputy Press Secretary for the House Small Business Committee and it's Chairwoman, Nydia M. Velazquez (D-NY).  She is a native of New York, N.Y. and has a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University.

Samantha Schott
Press Assistant

Samantha Schott, a Mandeville native, joined Senator Landrieu’s press team in October 2011. A summa cum laude graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi, she received her B.A. in journalism. Before joining Senator Landrieu’s staff, she interned with Congressman Steven Palazzo (Miss.) and USA Today.

Ashley Scott
Projects Assistant

Ashley Scott joined Senator Landrieu’s team in September 2010 and currently works on appropriations, grants, and assists with transportation issues. Previously, she served as Legislative Assistant for State Representative Dalton W. Honoré and Executive Assistant for U.S. Representative Donald J. Cazayoux, Jr., D-LA.  She has also worked with several policy, government, and nonprofit organizations. She hails from Shreveport, Louisiana and graduated with honors from Southern University and A&M College with her B.A. in Journalism and a Master of Public Administration and Public Policy.  She is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Elizabeth Weiner
Projects Assistant

Elizabeth Weiner joined Senator Landrieu’s DC staff in January of 2009 and served as the Senator’s Executive Assistant for the 111th Congress.  As Projects Assistant, she now works on appropriations and handles the Senator’s equine welfare portfolio.  She was also an intern for Senator Landrieu in 2005 and the Press Assistant for the Senator’s 2008 re-election campaign.  She is a New Orleans native and graduated with honors from Louisiana State University with a degree in Public Relations and Political Science. 

Ross Nodurft
Military Projects Assistant

Ross Nodurft joined Senator Landrieu's team in July 2009 and currently handles constituent correspondence related to military, foreign and veterans affairs. Ross was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Catholic University and his M.A. in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University.

Maj. Jason Kalin
Military Fellow

Maj. Jason Kalin joined Senator Landrieu's team in January 2012 and currently handles programs and constituent correspondence related to military, foreign and veterans affairs. Maj. Kalin was born in Ft. Campbell, Ken. and has been in the Air Force for 20 years. He received his B.S. in computer science from Wilberforce University and his masters in business administration with a concentration in logistics from Touro University.

Alicia Williams
Office Manager / Executive Assistant

Alicia Williams is originally from Grambling, Louisiana. She is a 1983 graduate of Grambling State University and a life member of the Grambling University National Alumni Association. She also is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Senate Black Legislative Caucus. Before joining Senator Landrieu's Washington staff, she was Deputy Campaign Manager during the 1996 election. Williams also has worked for former U.S. Senator J. Bennett Johnston as staff assistant, systems administrator, projects assistant and projects manager; and for former Lt. Governor Melinda Schwegmann as her executive assistant.

Kristen Granier
Assistant to the Legislative Director

Kristen Granier joined Senator Landrieu’s staff in May 2010.  She is currently the assistant to the Legislative Director.  Kristen was previously a staff assistant and tour coordinator for Senator Landrieu’s DC office and interned in the Senator’s Baton Rouge office in 2009.  Kristen is a native of Brusly, Louisiana and studied International Management at Southeastern Louisiana University.

Alston Walker
Executive Assistant to Sen. Landrieu

Alston Walker, a Shreveport native, joined Senator Landrieu's D.C. team in July 2010. Prior to serving in Senator Landrieu's office, Alston worked as an associate for McBee Strategic Consulting. Alston graduated cum laude from Tulane University in 2009 where he majored in Economics and Political Economy.

Linda M. Cox
Mail Coordinator

Linda Cox has more than 30 years experience on Capitol Hill working with computers, mail systems, data management and casework. Before joining Senator Landrieu's team, she worked for now-retired Senator J. James Exon of Nebraska.

Megan Blanco
Staff Assistant

Megan Blanco, a Bossier City native, rejoined Sen. Landrieu’s team in June 2011, after serving as an intern in 2006. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, with a B.A. in Political Science.  Directly after graduation, Megan joined Teach For America as a 2008 South Louisiana Corps Member, teaching in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. She then served a third year as a School Board Fellow with the Leadership for Educational Equity.

Alyson Williams Azodeh
Staff Assistant

Alyson Williams Azodeh is from Grambling, Louisiana and graduated from the Louisiana State School for the Deaf and Delgado Community College. Before joining the staff of Senator Landrieu, she worked for Former Senator J. Bennett Johnston for 8 years. Areas of responsibility include maintaining office files and input data from outgoing mail. Azodeh is a member of the Independent Baptist Church for the Deaf and is on the Church's winning Volleyball Team.




Baton Rouge Office


T. Bradley Keith
State Director

T. Bradley Keith has served as the Senator Landrieu’s state director since 1999 and as such manages the Senator’s state staff and offices in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport and Lake Charles with responsibility for outreach and constituent services.  Keith began his a career as a newspaper journalist with stints at The Patriot Ledger in Quincy, Massachusetts, The News-Star in Monroe, and New Orleans CityBusiness. From 1991 to 1996, Keith served then State Treasurer Mary Landrieu as communications director and assistant state treasurer. He worked for Louisiana Health Care Review as director of corporate communications from 1996 to 1999.  Keith is a graduate of LSU and lives in Ascension Parish.

Jeanne-Marie Ganucheau, MSW, LCSW
Smart Growth Coordinator

Jeanne-Marie currently works as a liaison to Sen. Mary Landrieu; her focus being smart growth and community development.  Jeanne-Marie has a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in administration of social services.  She began her career in health care where she served as a staff social worker, program manager, community educator and director of case management in acute care, physical rehabilitation and home health settings. For several years, she also managed and directed employee development and training and assisted with strategic planning for a large insurance services provider. She currently represents Senator Landrieu in Louisiana, communicating the Senator’s views and vision, advocating smart growth principles and comprehensive planning, and brokering resources for communities.

Shannon B. Langlois
Constituent Services Manager

Shannon Langlois spent almost two decades with former Senator J. Bennett Johnston as an office manager and caseworker before bringing her experience to Senator Landrieu's team. She has been with Senator Landrieu since the Senator took office in 1997, and has been an employee of the U.S. Senate for 30 years.

Meghann Morin
Assistant to the State Director

Meghann Morin, a native of Gonzales, Louisiana, joined the Sen. Landrieu’s team in January 2012.  A 2004 graduate of Louisiana State University, Meghann received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications with a concentration in public relations.  Prior to her role as the Assistant to the State Director, Meghann was the Public Relations Coordinator for EATEL. She is actively involved in the Public Relations Association of Louisiana.

 



New Orleans Office

LaVerne Osiris
Regional Manager

LaVerne Osiris, a native of Homer, Louisiana, joined Senator Landrieu's team in January 2002. She attended Louisiana State University Shreveport, where she majored in Forensic Psychology and was an Institute of Politics (IOP) Fellow of Loyola University. Prior to joining Senator Landrieu's staff, LaVerne founded "Write For You," a consulting firm that provided management and development consulting to non-profit organizations and corporations. While operating "Write for You," LaVerne wrote two books, Tips on Successful Grantwriting and Steps on How to Run a Profitable Home-based Business, which was featured in Essence Magazine. LaVerne has received numerous awards, including: National Who's Who Among Executive Females, The Power Generation 40 under 40 Top Business and Community Leaders in New Orleans and 1998 Advocacy Woman of the Year. She's an active member of the Greater New Orleans Junior League.

Wes Kungel
Regional Representative

'Wes Kungel joined Senator Landrieu's New Orleans team in August 2005. Wes earned his BA from LSU in English. Before joining Senator Landrieu's team, Wes worked as a volunteer coordinator and instructor at Adult Literacy Advocates in Baton Rouge

Sherae M. Hunter
Constituent Services Representative

Sherae M. Hunter, a native of Jackson, MS, earned her bachelor's degree in English from Dillard University in New Orleans. She worked as an intern with the Food and Drug Administration under Mississippi Attorney General Mike Moore, and also worked for two years as an intern on various aspects of Moore's anti-tobacco legislation campaign. With Senator Landrieu's office in New Orleans, Hunter serves as a Constituent Services Representative. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Kasey Cummings
Constituent Services Representative

Kasey Cummings was born and raised in Natchitoches, La.   She attended Northwestern St. University from 2001-2003 and Majored in Theater.  Her husband is currently serving in the US coast guard and has they are the parents of two young sons.  Kasey comes to us from Mobile, Alabama and is proud to be home and serving the people of Louisiana.

Tari T. Bradford
Deputy State Director

Tari Bradford, earned a bachelor's degree in business management and a master's of education in mass communications from Southern University, and A & M College,  Baton Rouge, LA .  Bradford, a Shreveport native, brings experience from previously working as a staff assistant/caseworker for Senator J. Bennett Johnston and from Shreveport Parks and Recreation as a senior communications specialist. Tari has been a part of the Landrieu Team since the Senator took office in 1997.  She is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

Michael D. Jackson, Sr.
Regional Manager

Michael D. Jackson, Sr. is a Shreveport native, who joined Senator Landrieu’s team in May 2010.  Michael received his B.A. in Political Science from Grambling State University and earned his J.D. from Southern University Law Center.  Prior to joining Senator Landrieu’s staff, Michael served as the Principal Grantwriter for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc. Northwest Louisiana Chapter.  Michael is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.   

Le Nelle Williford
Constituent Service Representative

Le Nelle Williford, a Shreveport native, is the "front-line" contact person in Senator Landrieu's Shreveport office. Before joining the team, she spent 12 years in the banking industry and as a city court deputy clerk. Williford is a graduate of Woodlawn High School, business schools and numerous computer classes and seminars.

Lake Charles Office

Mark Herbert
Regional Manager

Mark Herbert, a Ruston native, has 14 years of congressional experience, having worked for U.S. Representative Jerry Huckaby and U.S. Senator John Breaux. Mark has accrued a broad range of experience having served in Washington, D.C., Monroe and Baton Rouge.  Mark has also worked for several Louisiana state officials and also the Arkansas Democrat-Gazzette newspaper. Mark is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas with a B.A. in Communications.

Darlene M. Manuel
Constituent Service Representative

Darlene Manuel, a native of Sulphur, Louisiana, specializes in casework. Prior to joining the Landrieu office, she was a secretary for the Calcasieu Parish School Board Infant Toddler Preschool Program, where she worked with families of special needs children. Previously, Manuel was a supervisor for Kelly Services. She attended McNeese State University, where she majored in Office Administration.
